The graded record only means something if it's accurate. A wrong grade that sits uncorrected is worse than no grade at all — it trains the model on bad data and misleads anyone reading the ledger. So if you spot something off, we genuinely want to hear it.

What to contact us about
Data errors are the top priority. If you think a grade is wrong — a player recorded a strikeout but we graded him under, a team-total line was pulled before the game but we graded it anyway, a first-inning result landed backwards — tell us. Include the date, the board, and the player or game. We'll check the raw data, correct it if you're right, and note the correction in the ledger. Publicly.
Model questions are welcome too — how a particular score is calculated, why a player is projecting the way he is, why a certain market doesn't have an edge. Some of that lives in the how it works page already. If it doesn't, ask and we'll either explain or add it to the doc.
Feature requests — new boards, sports, or tools — are read and filed. The boards we've built have often come out of user questions, so these aren't performative. We can't promise a timeline, but good ideas tend to show up eventually.
What we can't help with
We don't provide individual picks, personalized betting advice, or anything that could be read as a recommendation on what to wager. That's not a legal hedge — it's the whole model. If you want to know what the model says, check the Plays of the Day board, which is public, graded, and updated every slate. The call to act on any of it is yours, not ours.
We also don't partner with sportsbooks, affiliate with betting operators, or take any position on which book to use. The odds data on the site comes from the-odds-api and reflects what the market was offering at fetch time — it's research input, not a referral link.

How do I report a grade error?
The fastest path is X — reply to @MatchWizAI or send a DM with the date, board, and player name. You can also email contact@matchwiz.ai. Include the specific play (e.g., "Jose Ramirez H strikeouts, July 18 — graded W but he didn't record a K") and we'll investigate. Confirmed errors are corrected in the ledger and noted publicly.
How quickly do you respond?
We check mentions and DMs on X daily. Email responses typically take 1–2 business days. Data errors get prioritized — a bad grade in the ledger is the thing we most want to know about, so those go to the front of the queue.
Can you give me a pick or tell me what to bet?
No — and that's not a policy dodge. MatchWiz is a statistical model, not a picks service. We post what the model says and grade it against the real result. If the model surfaces a play, it goes on the board for everyone. We don't do individual picks, DMs with "the play tonight," or anything that looks like betting advice. See the terms of use for why.
Can I suggest a new board, sport, or feature?
Yes, and we read them. X is the best channel for feature ideas — reply to @MatchWizAI or DM us. We can't commit to a timeline on requests, but the boards we've expanded (NRFI, team totals, pitcher strikeouts) often started as user questions about why we didn't cover them. Good suggestions land.
