How to read this board

The model is fitted and the first numbers land with the 2027 season. Until then this board is last season's games, with dashes where a projection will go.

Every club is rated on what it did against who it played, over a rolling year, with last season at half weight. Walked forward over 618 games across 2025 and 2026, the margin missed by 10.5 points on average at a calibration slope of 0.94. Calls from 70% to 80% landed 78%. Calls at 80% or better landed 81%.

The first 150 games run wide. Over that stretch a 10-point margin from us has been closer to an 8-point game. The side still landed 62%, against 67% after.

The total is the weak number. The league scored 163.4 a game in 2025 and 174.1 in 2026, and a model anchored on last season's level reads low in a rising league: 2.2 points low in 2025, 5.9 in 2026. Two seasons can't say whether 2027 keeps climbing.

WizEdge stays a dash. We haven't graded a single WNBA line, so we've got no business calling a gap to the book an edge yet. The strip above the board grades our moneyline side alone, in wins and losses, once there's a game to grade. Nothing here is a pick.
