Where this comes from

Kickoff times and networks are ESPN's, refreshed with the rest of our NFL data. Times are Eastern, one grid per night. A block turns gold when it's a standalone national window — nothing else is on, so everyone gets it — and blue when it's a division game. The Sunday afternoon rows stack because those windows are regional: CBS and FOX carry four or five games at once and your market picks one.

Want the numbers instead of the channels? The matchups board carries our projected score and win probability for every game on this slate, and we grade every one of them against the result.

Common questions

What channel is the NFL game on this week?
16 games carry a network for Week 1, across 5 of them. The grids above put each game on its channel at its kickoff time, one grid per night, so you can read down a network or across an afternoon.
Why are four games on CBS at the same time?
Because the Sunday afternoon windows are regional. CBS and FOX each carry four or five games at 1:00pm ET and your market gets one of them — the others are blacked out where you are. That's why those rows stack several games deep here: the grid shows what the network is carrying nationally, not what your TV will tune to. The standalone windows in gold are the opposite — one game, everywhere.
What do the gold and blue blocks mean?
Gold is a standalone national window — nothing else in the league kicks near it, so every market gets that game. Thursday night, Sunday night, Monday night and the morning game from London are the usual ones. Blue is a division game, the one result on the slate that moves a standings race directly.
Can I download or print the NFL TV schedule?
Yes. The download button above saves the week's biggest slate as a PNG — one image, every network, sized to share or print. It rebuilds every time the schedule changes, so a copy grabbed on Friday reflects any kickoff that has moved.
Why do some late-season games have no channel yet?
The league flexes them. From Week 5 the NFL can move a game into or out of Sunday night, and in the last month it can move games between the Sunday windows too, so the networks aren't set until roughly twelve days out. Those games show under “Not yet assigned” with their scheduled kickoff, which can also move.
How far back does the schedule go?
Every week of the season, both directions — preseason through the Super Bowl. Use the week strip to roll back to a Sunday that's already been played; the grids keep the finals in place, so an old week doubles as a record of who was on what.
