Where this comes from
Kickoff times and networks are ESPN's, refreshed with the rest of our college football data. Times are Eastern. A block turns gold when both teams are ranked and blue when one is — that's the AP poll, and it's the fastest way to find the game worth the good TV. Scores fill in as games finish, so an older week reads as a record of what was on where.
Want the numbers instead of the channels? The matchups board carries our projected score and win probability for every game on this slate, and we grade every one of them against the result.
Common questions
What channel are college football games on this Saturday?
42 games are on national TV for Saturday, September 12. The grid above puts each one on its channel at its kickoff time, so you can read down a network or across an afternoon. Another 38 stream, mostly on ESPN+ and the conference tiers, and those are listed underneath.
Can I download or print the college football TV schedule?
Yes. The download button above the grid saves the whole day as a PNG — one image, every network, sized to share or print. It rebuilds every time the schedule changes, so the copy you grab on Friday reflects any kickoff that moved.
Why do some games only appear under Streaming?
Because they have no TV channel. ESPN+ carries more college football than any network — around a third of a full Saturday — and up to five of its games kick at the same minute. Drawn as grid rows they'd be five deep and swamp the guide, so they get a list instead. Nothing is left out.
What time do college football games start?
Saturdays open at noon Eastern and the last kickoff is usually 10:30pm or later, once Hawaii and the Mountain West get going. The marquee window is 7:30pm. Midweek games — mostly Group of 5 — turn up Tuesday through Friday, and this week's are on the day tabs above.
How far back does the schedule go?
Every week of the season, both directions. Use the week strip to roll back to a Saturday that's already been played — the grid keeps the finals in place, so it doubles as a record of who was on what.
